It’s the last Sunday Funday of the summer! One of our favorite Fort Worth events, Sunday Funday at Panther Island Pavilion is the perfect place to beat the heat. Float on a tube around the waterfront stage while enjoying live music, food and drinks.

Preservation is the Art of the City

Celebrate Fort Worth art at the 16th annual “Preservation is the Art of the City” art show. The event features over 300 original works of art by dozens of local artists and sculptors. Admission is free for the art show and sale, but reservations must be made to attend the Party with the Artists on Sept. 6.

Fort Worth Galactic Swag Expo

The Fort Worth Galactic Swag Expo is a sci-fi, comics and electronics entertainment event packed with exciting family-friendly activities and attractions. How many Fort Worth events let you experience interactive exhibits like the Millennium Falcon cockpit and the Back to the Future DeLorean? You can also meet celebrity stars and find cool sci-fi gear from a fleet of vendors. Tickets are available for purchase on the event website.

Oktoberfest Fort Worth

It’s that wonderful time of the year again! Oktoberfest Fort Worth is a three-day German festival featuring German food, biergartens, music, dancing, Dachshund races and much more! The festival kicks off on Thursday in Der Spaten Halle for the opening ceremonies, tapping of the first kegs and live entertainment. Tickets are on sale now and a 3-day weekend pass is only $15.
